The Grandest of Canyons

Before we headed back to Scottsdale from Sedona, we took a small detour to the Grand Canyon.  Neither of us had ever been there - it would have been a shame to be so close and not see it.

It was breath-taking.  Simply awe-inspiring. Warning, there are a ton of pictures below.  I couldn't choose any to leave out.

One last thing about the Grand Canyon... If you ever go, please don't sacrifice your safety for a good picture.  I can't tell you how many people I saw climbing over barricades and stepping way-too-close to the edge just to get a good picture.  It was so scary to watch.

I also looked it up.  12 people accidentally die each year at the Grand Canyon while trying to get a good picture.  Don't be that person - the picture is so not worth it.
